I’m learning how to move through grief by reaching for peace, teetering as I balance this new life after losing Eva. My motherhood is etched into every aspect of my life. I have had many roles, but the role of mother has taught me more about our very existence than anything else. I am the mother of Max, Eva and Leo—each has changed me in significant ways. My husband Joe and I raise our family in the lush forests of the Pacific Northwest.
